Hype of Modern People
Modernization means adapting a new way of living or habits in a modern way. We wear Jeans-Shirt instead of Dhoti-Kurta. We use gadgets in place of playing in the sand for past time. We travel in cars, metros, buses, trains instead of bullock and horse carts. English has become an essential part of urban natives. Without it, they consider illiterate by the words of so-called educated folks. It only tells one thing that we really become modern in every aspect of what world outside want us to be. Does it also is helping in building modern harmony among all kind of persons? It concludes that we are ready to follow the advanced technique of life but it also enlightens that Modernization stagnates up to appearance. It has nothing to do with the inner consciousness of a person. More modern they become, more hypocrites they are going to be.
In order to get advanced, we are losing our innocence and credibility towards our soul. Look who we are? What we become? – A machine which only knows to function to meet ends of some special outsiders’ expectations till its oil gotten finished. Are we performing slavery against some social norms? Is this our duties to serve as what society demands? After all, we are not puppets who can’t think. We as a human have our own mind and right to live the way we want and express the way we want. There should be no crisis as such to follow footsteps of others when we can do it on our own. We too create our own footsteps in a different way. When we do it, I think that WE are transmitting into real modern from rather just modern.
